Modality: Specific Criteria
Admission qualifications:
- Although no specific degree is required, for admission to the University Master's Degree in Biomedical Research it is advisable, but not essential, to have completed studies corresponding to the Degrees in Biology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Chemistry, Dentistry, Nursing and Psychology, or any other undergraduate degree that includes studies in Fundamental Biology and/or Medicine.
- Desirable qualities for the future student of the Master's Degree in Biomedical Research include:
- Intermediate/high level of English.
- Ability to work.
- Willingness to work in a team.
- Capacity for logical reasoning.
- Ability to obtain, interpret and apply knowledge.
- Scientific spirit.
- Ability to solve problems.
Admission to the official courses of the Master's Degree in Biomedical Research will be based on the following criteria:
1. Academic record.
1. Degree of adequacy (preferably) of the student's previous training competences to the basic needs of the Master's Degree.
Students from countries with a language other than Galician, Portuguese or Spanish must accredit the level of Galician language: Celga II, or Spanish: B2, according to the Agreement of the Governing of the USC of 30 July 2018.
If they do not have any of these qualifications, the USC will give them a level test and, if they do not pass it, they will have to attend an intensive Galician language course.
