Summary
This final degree project corresponds to a social intervention Project, which aims to improve the comprehensive adaptation process of newly admitted elderly people in the Narón residential centre, promoting their well-being through structured social intervention and person centered care. Currently, the aging population, increased life expectancy, and a paradigm shift in family life where women´s entry into the workforce has abruptly ended the traditional caregiver role along with unwanted loneliness, among other factors, are forcing families to make more care oriented decisions and seek relief, respite, and better care for their elderly relatives in residential care facilities. It´s important to remember that increased life expectancy also bring physical or cognitive decline, and in most cases, families lack knowledge about these illnesses, and their homes often don´t meet the necessary conditions to provide optima well being for the elderly person. Therefore, residential care facilities must create, from the moment of admission, a safe environment, promote individual and family participation, foster autonomy, and ensure full adaptation to each person (their life story, tastes, concerns, etc.). Therefore, adequate training or staff, oriented towards this vision, is paramount. This is why this project will delve into the most suitable model, person centred care (PCC). This project is adapted from the logical framework approach, combined with the proposals in this type of work by G.A. García Herrero and J.M. Ramirez Navarro.

Summary
Prostitution constitutes a social reality present in different contexts and conditioned by social factors that influence the situations of vulnerability experienced by women. In Galicia and Medellín, this reality takes different forms, framed within specific normative and sociocultural contexts that impact the personal and social experiences of those who engage in it. Therefore, the main objective is to analyse the relationship between prostitution and the mental health of women in Spain and Colombia. The methodology employed corresponds to a qualitative research model and an interpretative paradigm, suitable for understanding the experiences and meanings that women and professionals attribute to the relationship between prostitution and mental health. A descriptive design is adopted. Participants will be women in situations of prostitution and Social Work professionals, selected through purposive criterion-based sampling. Information will be collected through semi-structured interviews and documentary analysis, and data will be analysed using an inductive analysis based on the identification of emerging categories, patterns and meanings. The study will have a defined duration and the results will later be disseminated through academic journals and social networks.

Summary
This Final Degree Project develops a direct social intervention project at the group level, aimed at preventing addictive behaviours and promoting healthy lifestyle habits among young people aged 14 to 21 at the San José de Calasanz Juvenile Centre in A Coruña. The project is situated in the professional field of social work and focuses on identifying and strengthening protective factors, reducing risk factors, and promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the minors at the centre. The project design was developed using the Manual for Project Development by Ezequiel Ander-Egg and María José Aguilar as a reference, drawing on contributions from both its first edition in 1989 and the latest edition available in 2005, which incorporates updated approaches. The methodological approach of Gustavo A. García Herrero and José Manuel Ramírez Navarro, from their work Diseño y evaluación de proyectos sociales (Design and Evaluation of Social Projects), was used to draw up the budget, which made it possible to organise resources and estimate costs. The intervention will be carried out through workshops, group dynamics, healthy leisure activities, and sessions focused on developing personal skills. We will also work in coordination with the centre's professional team to reinforce the educational intervention and ensure that the specific needs of the minors are properly addressed. The Ceibe Project: Accompanying Lives Free of Addiction, seeks to accompany young people in building a life free of addiction, promoting autonomy, health, and active participation within the center and in their future integration into the community.

Summary
The following project proposes a social intervention targeting homeless people with addictive behaviors in the municipality of Ribeira (A Coruña). This proposal arises from a social work perspective and is developed in collaboration with the Addictive Behaviors Unit (UCA), which acts as the regional representative for the care of people with addictive disorders. The project's main objective is to promote the social inclusion of this group through a comprehensive intervention that guarantees the coverage of their basic needs (food, hygiene, clothing), improves their general well-being, and fosters their personal autonomy. To this end, a biopsychosocial approach is implemented that includes technical, economic, and material care, adapted to the local context and centered on the individual. Coordination with municipal social services, healthcare resources, and third-sector organizations is also promoted, establishing strong support networks. The target population is comprised of homeless adults with addictive behaviors who reside in the municipality of Ribeira and are registered with the UCA (Center for the Development of a Community of People with Disabilities), placing this context in a state of severe social exclusion. This intervention seeks not only to respond to the urgency of their living conditions but also to impact their recovery and community reintegration, taking into account factors such as mental health, emotional or family ruptures, and social stigma.

Summary
Gambling addiction has become one of the most significant addictions among young people, particularly within the university context. The expansion of online gambling, its easy accessibility, and the social acceptance of betting have increased the risk of developing problematic gambling behaviors. The university stage, intensified by academic stress, social pressure, and the acquisition of greater personal autonomy, represents a particularly vulnerable context. The main objective of this research project is to identify gambling behaviors and the risk factors associated with gambling addiction among university students. This study is conducted using a quantitative methodology, with a descriptive and cross-sectional design. Data collection is carried out through a self-developed questionnaire specifically designed for this study and aimed at university students. This instrument gathers information related to gambling habits, motivations, risk factors, and the perception of gambling-related risk. This methodology allows for an overall view of the problem and provides an empirical basis for analyzing gambling behavior within the university context.

Summary
The aim of this work is to analyze the scientific literature produced between 2000 and 2025, regarding the role of social work in caring for victims of terrorism in Europe. The goal is to identify the most frecuent intervention strategies, the safeguarding ethical principles and the methods used in social work in this field. The methodology was a systematic review of the literature, following the PRISMA guidelines (2020), searching in the following databases: Dialnet, Scopus, ProQuest and BASE. The articles found show that social work plays a crucial role in emotional control, assistance in legal proceedings and reconstruction of the victims’ vital project. Highlighting the importance of an ethical, psychosocial and integral intervention. It should be noted that although there are government policies focused on victims of terrorism, the specific scientific production derived from social work is scarce. The existing literature is scattered, with theoretical approaches predominating.
