Internships in companies
The Internship subject has 6 ECTS and is compulsory, which means that our students will do a minimum of 150 hours (approximately one month full time) of work in companies and research centres.
More than 125 companies and research centres of reference in Environmental Engineering (Viaqua-Suez España, AIMEN, AMBIO, FCC Aqualia, Citröen, CODISOIL, Conservas Isabel, CEIT, CSIC, DETEGASA, ENCE, ENDESA, ENMACOSA, Espina y Delfín, Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas, Gestagua, IDOM, Infinita Renovables, Labaqua, Reganosa, Renova, Serviguide, etc.) collaborate with the Master.
Internships have been the most highly valued module of the Master over the years (there is no data for the 2022-23 academic year due to the change in the syllabus, where this subject was moved to the 2nd year).
Extracurricular Internships
In addition to the Internship subject included in the syllabus of the degree (also known as curricular), Master students are currently offered the possibility of extending them up to a maximum of 900 hours through the so-called Extracurricular Internship (750 hours). This is an option increasingly chosen by our students to acquire additional professional experience.
